Scenario 2 : Normal Backwash
Normal backwash only removes dirt/ sediments from the surface of sand media.
Scenario 3 : Only The Surface Is Cleaned
Trapped dirt/ sediments remain within the sand media. Only the surface is cleaned.
Scenario 1 : Air-Scouring
Air-scour pushes air bubbles through the dirty sand media. Sand particles rub against each other and releases the dirt. Air bubbles carry the dirt/ sediments upwards.
Scenario 2 : After Air-Scouring
All dirt/ sediments are pushed to the surface of sand media
Scenario 3 : Another Backwash After Air-Scouring
Normal backwash removes dirt/ sediments from the surface of sand media.
Scenario 4 : Finally, A Clean Filter
The sand media is thoroughly cleaned.

A simple condition to fulfill before our visit:
Take a photo of your outdoor water filter and send the photo to us via WhatsApp or upload it through our website. In the photo, please ensure that the portion of the inlet piping is visible, with more than 4 inches of PVC pipe in length. Our technician needs to modify the pipe in order to service your filter.
